Year after year there is an increasing alarming rise in mental health issues among the youth and has cast a shadow over the vitality of our communities. The statistics paint a blunt reality that demands our attention and collective action. In schools, workplaces and communities’ initiatives promoting mental health should be prioritized, education curricula should include units on mental health, teaching young people skills to recognized signs of distress, developing empathy and equipping them with coping tools for effective learning and working results, mental health is the back backbone of successful student or organization.
